Chairman, Kogi JPSNC, Olusegu Alemeru Urges Workers To Reciprocate Gov. Ododo’s Humane Leadership Style

Kogi State Chairman of the Joint Public Service Negotiating Council, Comrade Olusegu Alemeru has said workers in the state should double their efforts to justify the good works of the Governor, the Chief Servant of Kogi State, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo.

Comrade Alemeru made the remark while reacting to the sudden payment of leave bonus to workers on Monday.

According to him, the issue of leave bonus which was not even part of their request was paid to workers without an appeal, describing the measure as heartwarming.

He commended the Governor for ensuring industrial harmony since assumption last year, noting that he has written his name in gold and on the sands of time.

“It is heartwarming and a thing of joy to the labour cycle, while we request for other things, the Governor has used his ingenuity to pay leave bonus and May salary same day, this is unprecedented” Alemeru stated.

The joint negotiating chairman promised a sustained robust relationship with the government in order to enjoy more of the dividends of democracy.

Comrade Alemeru called on workers to rededicate themselves to duty in order to justify the good works of the Chief servant of Kogi State.

“Let me add quickly that this government is our own, Governor Ododo is our own, there is therefore, no vacancy in Lugard House in 2027”, he stated.

Comrade Alemeru extolled the leadership role of the Special Adviser on Labour matters, Onuh Edoka whose trade mark is excellence at all times irrespective of the time, season, environment, etc.

The joint negotiating chairman added that Comrade Edoka has never disappointed in which ever position he finds himself and appealed for sustained prayers for the Governor to enable him do more.
