Breaking: Gov. Ododo Makes Fresh Appointment, Redeploys Others

Kogi State Governor, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo has approved the appointment of Ibrahim Sunday Abdwaaris as the Chairman, Kogi State Electricity Regulatory Commission.

The Governor also reappointed Ehinoyi Sunday Joshua Esq. as the Director General Bureau of Public Procurement (BPP).

According to a statement by the Secretary to the Government of Kogi State, Mrs. Folashade Ayoade, the Governor also granted redeployment of Hon. Onimisi M. Itopa, who was the Senior Special Assistant (SSA) on Political Strategy & Grassroots Sensitization, as Special Adviser (SA) to the Governor on Political Strategy & Grassroots Sensitization.

Similarly, Governor Ododo approved the replacement of Mohammed Awwal Danjuma, the Senior Special Assistant (SSA) to the Governor on Creative Arts with Hon. Jatto Onimisi Suleiman.

In the same vein, Usman Inya Aishat, the Senior Special Assistant (SSA) to the Governor on Women Affairs has been redeployed as Senior Special Assistant (SSA) on Social Welfare.

In a related development, Governor Ododo approved the appointment of Alhaji Taufiq Isah as Director General, Kogi State Utility and Infrastructure Management and Compliance Agency, while Suleiman Onimisi Abdulazeez, Agada Paul and Bebeyi Olayinka Emmanuel are Executive Members respectively.

The Governor congratulated the appointees on their new assignments and wished them well in their service to Kogi State.

Besides, the appointment of Director General Bureau of Public Procurement (BPP) which takes effect from August 12, 2024, all other appointments and redeployments takes immediate effect.
