The Vice-Chancellor of Prince Abubakar Audu University, Anyigba, Prof. Salisu Ogbo Usman, on behalf of the Management, staff, and students of the University, heartily felicitates with the Speaker of the Kogi State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Umar Aliyu Yusuf, on the auspicious occasion of his birthday anniversary.
Prof. Usman described Rt. Hon. Umar Aliyu Yusuf as a visionary leader, an exceptional legislator, and a steadfast advocate of peace, progress and development of Kogi State.
The Vice-Chancellor noted that the Speaker had continued to distinguish himself as a man of wisdom, integrity and selfless service, whose dedication to good governance and legislative excellence had remained evident in his style of leadership at the Kogi State House of Assembly. He also noted that the Speaker had always inspired confidence and hope in the people, while fostering unity, stability, and sustainable development across the state.
“Your leadership in the Kogi State House of Assembly has remained a shining example of courage, fairness, and commitment to the welfare of the people. You have consistently supported policies and initiatives that promote development, unity, and prosperity in Kogi State. Your contributions to legislative advancement and democratic growth are highly commendable,” Prof. Usman stated.
He further remarked that, as a strong pillar of democracy, the Speaker’s invaluable contributions to the stability, peace, and advancement of Kogi State cannot be overstated, noting that his resilience, patriotism, and sense of responsibility had continued to earn him widespread admiration and respect.
Prof. Usman prayed that Almighty Allah, in His infinite mercy, would continue to grant Rt. Hon. Umar Aliyu Yusuf wisdom, knowledge, understanding, and sound health to discharge his responsibilities with excellence.
