A former Commissioner of Budget and Planning in Kogi State, Chief Paul Maiwada has declared his intention to contest for the position of the National President of the Bassa Cultural Development Union (BCDU)
Chief Maiwada who made his intention known while speaking with our reporter said he is in the race to position the union on the right path for the development of the association and Bassa land.
He enjoined all stakeholders of the union to support him to enable him make the union an enviable association and give the Bassa people their pride of place in the committee of other tribes in the country.
The Presidential hopeful of the BCDU congratulated sons and daughters of Bassa land on the New Year and wished them successes ahead.
