APPRECIATION MESSAGE TO ALL STAKEHOLDERS

On behalf of the Kogi State Independent Electoral Commission (KOSIEC), I extend our heartfelt appreciation to all who contributed to the success of the 19th October 2024 Local Government elections.

We are deeply grateful to the press, security personnel, Electoral Officers, Civil Society Organisations (CSOs), political parties, traditional rulers, the electorate, and the dedicated members and staff of KOSIEC. Your commitment and support, before, during, and after the elections, ensured a peaceful, transparent, and credible electoral process.

To our security agencies, your diligence and professionalism provided the much needed security to safeguard the electoral process and guarantee a peaceful environment for voters. We appreciate the press for your unbiased reporting and commitment to upholding transparency throughout the exercise.

To the Electoral Officers, CSOs, and political parties, your tireless efforts ensured the smooth conduct of the elections, upholding the highest standards of integrity and fairness. The traditional rulers and electorates played a vital role in mobilising and maintaining the peaceful atmosphere that characterised the elections. Your unwavering belief in democracy and commitment to civic duties truly shone through.

To the staff and members of KOSIEC, we commend your exceptional performance and commitment to ensuring the successful delivery of this important democratic exercise.

Lastly, to all elected Chairmen and Councillors, please do not betray the confidence of your various communities. We look forward to seeing you have a successful tenure.

Once again, we thank all stakeholders for their invaluable contributions, and we look forward to your continued cooperation in strengthening the democratic process in Kogi State.
