The National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Abdullahi Ganduje, has extended warm Christmas greetings to Christians across Nigeria and called for love, peace, and unity during the festive season.

A statement by his Chief Press Secretary, Edwin Olofu, Ganduje described Christmas as a time for reflection, thanksgiving, and fostering bonds of harmony to strengthen national unity and progress.

He called on Nigerians, regardless of faith or background, to embrace the spirit of togetherness and mutual respect, which he said are crucial for national cohesion. Ganduje also encouraged acts of selflessness, generosity, and care for the less privileged, especially during the season of giving.

Addressing economic concerns, the APC chairman acknowledged the hardships caused by the bold economic reforms of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s administration and urged Nigerians to remain patient, assuring that the reforms are beginning to yield positive results.

Ganduje expressed optimism that the economy would have stabilized by next year, offering better prospects for citizens.

He also noted improvements in national security, citing reductions in cases of banditry and kidnapping.

The former Kano State governor reaffirmed the APC leadership’s commitment to promoting policies and programs aimed at sustainable growth, security, and improved welfare for all Nigerians.

He urged citizens to use the festive period to pray for the continued peace, stability, and prosperity of the country, as well as for the success of leaders at all levels of government.

Ganduje wished Nigerians a Merry Christmas and a prosperous New Year in advance.
