The All Progressives Congress (APC) has congratulated the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, on his birthday, describing him as a transformative leader whose service has significantly advanced national development.
In a statement issued on Saturday by the party’s National Vice Chairman (South-South), Chief Victor Giadom, and National Publicity Secretary, Felix Morka, CON, the APC praised Wike’s record of performance as former Governor of Rivers State and his ongoing reforms in the FCT, noting his strong contributions to the successful implementation of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda.
The party said Wike’s “audacious life of service” has continued to inspire progress across the South-South and the nation, highlighting his achievements in infrastructure, education, healthcare, housing, and urban renewal, Popularly known as “Mr. Project,” Wike was credited with delivering massive and unprecedented infrastructural development in the FCT, including extensive road construction, rail rehabilitation, improved land administration, and enhanced city management, which the APC said have restored Abuja as a “super functional modern capital city.”
The APC leadership further commended the minister’s courage, drive, and administrative reforms, adding that his leadership remains a vital asset to national growth. The party wished Wike continued good health, strength, and wisdom as he marks another year of service to the country.
