The Kogi State Accountant General, Dr. Habibat Oyiza Onumoko, paid a courtesy visit to Mopamuro Local Government, as part of her thank you tour to the people of Mopamuro for voting Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo in the last gubernatorial election.
During the visit, Dr. Onumoko expressed her gratitude to the good people of Mopamuro for their overwhelming support Governor Ododo.
The Mopamuro LG Chairman, Hon. Ademola Bello, appreciated the Governor’s efforts in delivering on his campaign promises, including timely payment of salaries, construction of township roads, and provision of food items to cushion the effects of hunger and food scarcity.
The Chairman also highlighted areas where the Governor could improve, which was duly noted by the Accountant General.
The program was well-attended by prominent party members, political office holders, stakeholders, and the people of Mopamuro, who warmly welcomed Dr. Onumoko and the delegation.
Dr. Onumoko who was impressed by the reception and turnout, praised the people of Mopamuro Local Government for their support.
The visit served as a platform for the government to engage with the people, listen to their concerns, and reaffirm its commitment to delivering on its promises.
