In order to alleviate the suffering of the less privileged in Nigeria, the founder and chairman of BUA cement group of companies also known as Abdul Samad Rabiu Initiative ASR Africa in collaboration with Ummuameena foundation have distributed food stuff worth millions of naira to about five hundred beneficiaries across kogi state.
Speaking on behalf of the donors , Mallam Usman Aliyu said the gesture was humanitarian with no political motive.
He said the project was designed for the thirty six states of the federation noting that kogi state has taken it’s turn today.
Mallam Usman advised beneficiaries to extend the gesture to their neighbors who were not privileged to be among beneficiaries.
He also advised them against selling the items.
Speaking on behalf of the beneficiaries, Miss Hajara Shehu commended the donor’s for the gesture and prayed that almighty Allah reward them abundantly.
Another beneficiary Mallam Isah Yunusa thanked the donors for putting smile on their faces at this critical time and prayed that God will continue to sustain them and meet them at the point of their needs.
Items distributed include 25kg of rice, 25kg of millet, 10kg of sugar, vegetable oil, spaghetti, salt, tomato paste and Maggie.
