In a move to address the economic hardships faced by his constituents, Senator Isah Jibrin Echocho has initiated a range of initiatives focused on youth empowerment in Kogi East, aimed at equipping them with the skills and resources needed to thrive.
Senator Isah-Echocho, at Omala Local Government Area, launched a 4-day training program in collaboration with the National Productivity Centre and Danfulani Ideas Limited.
The training program, designed to equip youths with viable business strategies, capacity building, and empowerment tools, is part of the Senator’s efforts to mitigate the economic crunch in Nigeria, where the beneficiaries of the intervention expressed their gratitude, praising the senator for his unwavering commitment to their well-being.
Represented by his Senior Legislative Aide, Danlami Garba, Senator Isa-Echocho pledged to sustain this drive, ensuring that all local governments in Kogi East benefit from the initiative.
He urged those yet to benefit to be patient, assuring them that the intervention would soon get to them.
This latest initiative follows the first phase of the scheme, which saw over 200 constituents benefit in Dekina Local Government Area last month.
The lawmaker’s dedication to his constituents’ economic empowerment is a beacon of hope amidst the country’s economic challenges.
