Kogi State Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo has described Regina Akume wife of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation as a woman of great integrity.
Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo made the remarks in a message during the first Open Assembly one year Anniversary of Mrs Regina Akume as the representative of Tarker Gboko Federal Constituency at Gboko, Benue State.
Represented by the Deputy Governor of Kogi State Comrade Joel Salifu, the Governor said said,Mrs Regina Akume’s developmental efforts to her Constituency is encouraging and described her as a performer.
According to him she is a rare gem that have devoted her life to serve humanity especially people of her federal constituency.
The wife of the President, Mrs Oluremi Tinubu Represented by the wife of the speaker House of Representatives Fatima Abbas Congratulated Mrs Regina Akume on her one year celebration and presentation of her report card to the people of the federal constituency.
She described Mrs Regina Akume as an objective federal law maker stressing that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu is committed to the development of women.
The Benue State Governor, Hyacinth Allia Represented by the Deputy Governor Samuel Ode Said Mrs Regina Akume is a Mother to all and prayed God to grant her wisdom to achieve her vision for the people of her federal constituency.
The Governor of Benue said the federal law maker is exemplary in her commitment, Stressing that her support to womanhood is great.
At the Palace of Tor Tiv, His Royal Majesty James Ortube Ayatse Congratulated Mrs Regina Akume for her one year selfless service to her federal constituency noting she remain great ambassador of Benue State and the country.
HRM James Ortube Ayatse Commended the Governor of Kogi State Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo for attending the ceremony and Promised to partner with traditional council of Kogi State.
He called on the federal law makes to raise motion that will improve protection of lives and property of Nigerians.
The Special Adviser to the Governor on special duties and former Chairman Ibaji Local Government Area Thomas Offor and the Senior Special Assistance to the Governor on Ethics and Value and the Treasurer forum of Senior Special Assistances to the Governor Sani Musa were in the high powered delegation of Kogi State Government led by the Deputy Governor Comrade Joel Salifu.
