Kogi State President of the Nigeria Union of Local Government Employees, NULGE, Comrade Muhammed Sanusi Inyanya says the verdict of Appeal Court validating the election of Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo should be seen as divine.
Speaking to Our Reporter, Comrade Sanusi Inyanya said the Governor deserved such verdict in view of his disposition to reposition the state to the admiration of all.
According to him, the Governor’s achievements within a short period in office which include improved salary to local government workers, payment of hazard allowance to health workers across board, full payment of pensions and others speak volume .
He felicitated with the Governor, his Deputy, members of the State Executive Council and the good people of the state on the positive development.
While appealing to opposition to put aside their differences, the State NULGE President emphasized that the state will only grow faster when there is peace and unity among the people.
Comrade Sanusi Inyanya also urged the Governor and his team to see the opportunity as an avenue to work harder by putting smiles on the people of the state.
The Kogi NULGE President assured that the union will continue to be a dependable ally in the quest to consolidate on the achievements of the immediate past administration.
