Students have been urged to shun examination malpractices and cultism in their various schools.
The caretaker Chairman of Mopamuro Local Government Area, Ademola Bello Destiny stated this in a message to this year’s celebration of children’s day.
The Chairman who was represented by the Council Secretary Mr. Olawale Elekula appreciated guests for finding time to celebrate with the children.
Mr. Bello charged the students to be good ambassadors of their respective schools and assured them of government programmes and policies that will have direct impact on them.
The council boss appealed to students to take their studies serious and shun social vices that are harmful to their future as future leaders.
He admonished the children to be obedient to authority and respect for their teachers.
The council Supervisor for Education, Dare Elega also appreciated the council boss for reviving the celebration of children day in the area.
He congratulated the children on this year’s celebration.
