Comm Of Youth and Sports Commends Gov Ododo For Approving Scholarship

Kogi State Commissioner for Youth and Sports Development Hon Monday A. Anyebe has  described the efforts of the state Governor Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo for  Youth emancipation as impressive.

Hon Monday A Anyebe stated this while receiving the Executive Chairman of the Kogi State Scholarship Board Mr.Afolabi Joseph Raji and members of the Board at the Commissioner’s office in Lokoja.

Hon Monday said the approved payment of Scholarship to Students of Kogi State origin in tertiary institution across the country call for commendation of Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo led administration.

The Commissioner said the  gesture by the Governor for the payment of the bursary allowance will go along way to reduce the burden of parents or guardians.

According to him, the support of Governor Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo for the development in the state is also a thing of Joy for the Youth in the state.

Hon Monday A Anyebe called on the kogi State Scholarship Board Team to work as one Big family towards reciprocating the efforts of the Governor by being honest in the job given to them.

The Commissioner restated his readiness to work with Board to ensure that the success of the aims and objectives of the Governor in approving the scholarship.

Hon Monday A Anyebe thanked the Chairman of the Board Mr. Afolabi Joseph Raji and his team for the visit and for the partisanship.

The Executive Chairman of the Kogi State Scholarship Board Mr. Afolabi Joseph Raji said they where in the Commissioner’s office to seek for his collaboration towards the success of the mandate given to them by Governor Ahmemd Usman Ododo.

Mr. Afolabi said the Registration of the bursary allowance is strictly for the students of Kogi State origin in tertiary institution across the country.
