Being a superior court of record, a legal practitioner, Frank Tietie has said it is a must for the Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), Ola Olukoyede to appear before the Kogi State High Court.
Speaking on Arise News, Tietie had said, “whether you like it or not, the Kogi State High Court is a superior court of record and its orders must be obeyed by all authorities and persons in the Federal Republic of Nigeria.”
Looking at the scenario, the legal practitioner, averred that, “this is now a very difficult situation for the EFCC.”
It is left to be seen how the Anti-graft agency would wriggle itself out of this legal logjam.
Would it re-enacted its penchant of disregard for the court and its usual flagrant disobedience of court orders?
