The appointment of Hon Ademola Bello Destiny by the former governor of kogi state Alhaji Yahaya Adoza Bello was Divine.
It was Divine because Hon Ademola Bello Destiny within his one hundred days in office has proved his critics wrong by delivering the dividend of democracy to the good people of Mopamuro LGA. So, it was a right step in the right direction that the governor made by appointing Hon Ademola Bello Destiny.
Firstly, there is a saying that cleanliness is next to godliness. Hon Ademola Bello immediately embarked on total clearing and cleaning of the council secretariat for staffs to have a conducive environment to work. As we speak Mopamuro LGA remains one of the neatest council secretariat across the state.
More so, the caretaker chairman also embark on the repair and rehabilitation of the motorized borehole at the council secretariat for a free flow of water to almost all the offices at the secretariat.
In addition, the council secretariat was connected to the national grid that made all staff to be happy after being with darkness for quite some years.
It may also interest us to know that the caretaker chairman, Hon Ademola Bello Destiny do hold regular meetings with his staff to know their plight and on how to improve staff welfare. The caretaker chairman in his usual philanthropism and magnanimity do give staff financial assistance and cash donations to ameliorate their transportation.
This is unprecedented since the creation of the council almost twenty eight years ago.
May I hasten to add that within one hundred days in office of Hon Ademola Bello Destiny in office, he has given Education a top priority in his administration. He provided text books and other instructional materials to schools across Mopamuro LGA.
He also paid common entrance Levy of all primary six pupils of model primary school, Odole Mopa. He has also given scholarships to 50 indigent students of Mopamuro LGA that will be resuming at the newly established College of Education Technical Mopa.
It may interest you to note that the council boss has equally defrayed medical bills of patients at the General Hospital Mopa. His kind gestures towards mankind and humanity is not left out. He has donated food and cash donations to orphanage home in Mopamuro LGA.
More importantly, Hon Ademola Bello within the last one hundred days in office refurbished and overhauled the council earth moving machine ( grader) that has been abandoned for a long time. And this was an applause to the chairman. As we speak, he has started grading and re grading of all rural roads across the ten wards of mopamuro LGA.
Furthermore, Hon Ademola Bello Destiny in few days ago just opened a market known as Amuro market that has been abandoned and neglected for almost two decades thereby giving room for the sales of goods and services.
Finally, everyone in Mopamuro LGA can close their eyes to sleep because of how Hon Ademola Bello Destiny has given security a top priority. The caretaker chairman proactiveness in terms of security is second to none. There is total reduction of robbery cases, theft and stealing in Mopamuro LGA.
The Fulani/herders and the farmers crisis is now a thing of the past due to the security architecture put in place by Hon Ademola Bello Destiny.
