The Chief Medical Director of Reference Hospital Okene, Professor Solomon Avidime, has decried a situation where patients do not come to hospital to seek adequate medical care, until their ailment have reached advance stage.
The Reference Hospital hospital Okene is one of the signature projects of the immediate past Governor of Kogi State Alhaji Yahaya Adoza Bello.
Professor Avidime advised patients to visit the hospital as soon as the discover the sign or symptom of any ailment.
The CMD noted that the hospital is structured on the tripod of professionalism and excellent service at affordable cost.
He declared that the journey of the hospital so far which was commissioned in 2023 by immediate past President Muhammadu Buhari is a success story in all ramifications
Professor Avidime disclosed that the hospital has become a centre of attraction and strategically located to serve the host community and beyond.
The CMD noted that the medical personnel of the hospital has been trained and retrained in line with international best practices.
Professor Avidime enjoined the people of the state and beyond, to take full advantage of the excellent services available at the hospital at minimal cost.
