The Maigari of Lokoja, Alhaji Ibrahim Muhammed Kabir Maikarfe the fourth has called for peaceful co-existence among Nigerians.

Alhaji Ibrahim made the call in his Sallah message at his Palace in Lokoja.

He stated that peace was essential in all human endeavour, stressing that Islam signifies peace hence everyone should make it a watchword.

According to the Maigari, the one month of Ramadan was a period of atonement for sin and reconciliation with Allah, noting that all lessons learnt should not be taken for granted.

Alhaji Ibrahim who felicitated with Muslims on the auspicious occasion, urged everyone to see dialogue as solution to all problems in order to attain a nation of the dream of its founding fathers.

The Maigari of Lokoja also enjoined government to put measures in place towards checkmating the ever increasing inflation rate.

Alhaji Ibrahim added that the economy has become so unfavourable as families now find it difficult to feed, a development the Maigari described as unbearable.

“People are finding it extremely difficult to feed in their houses, this is not good at all, Nigerians should be proud of their Country through comfortable living, if nothing else, at least, let there be the three basic necessities of life”, Alhaji Ibrahim stated.

The Maigari of Lokoja congratulated Muslims on the successful Ramadan fast and also felicitated with the government and people of Kogi State, appealing for sustained prayers for the present administration in the state.
