Council Chairman To Sponsor 50 Students on Scholarship At Kogi College of Education Technical Mopa

Mopamuro Local Government Area is to sponsor 50 Students on scholarship at the College of Education Technical Mopa.

The Transition Committee Chairman of the Local Government, Hon Ademola Bello Destiny made this known on Tuesday when he played host to the Provost of the College, Mrs Victoria Olushola Jagboro with her management team at the Council Secretariat.

He said the students will resume as soon as academic activities commence at  Mopa, the new site of the Institution, saying his administration will mobilize the necessary support for the College to succeed in the Local Government.

He described the Executive Governor of Kogi state Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo as an Education friendly Governor, who is committed to the transformation of the College.

He commended Mrs Jagboro for the giant strides recorded in kabba in terms of academic performance of students and infrastructure in the school, urging her to replicate same in Mopa.

He assured her and her team of his total support and cooperation especially in terms of accommodations, security and logistics support in ensuring that college of education technical mopa attain her rightful place among all colleges of Education in Nigeria.

In her remark, the Provost of the College of Education Technical Kabba said the visit was to congratulate the caretaker chairman on his appointment and thanked the Executive Governor of kogi state Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo for making the right choice for the people of Mopamuro LGA.

The Provost briefed the caretaker chairman on their total preparedness to relocate to Mopamuro LGA in no distance time.

She appeal for support and cooperation from all stakeholders of Mopamuro LGA and promising to put in her best more than what she has achieved in Kabba with the help of God.

Similarly, the caretaker chairman visited Model Primary School Odole Mopa where he paid the common entrance Levy of six pupils of the school.
