The Care taker Chairman, Ofu Local Government Council, Hon.Hassan Sani Atawodi has said his administration is set to initiate projects that have direct impact on the lives of rural dwellers, in the Area.
Hon Hassan who said this while commissioning a water project at Ofolikpa and an Office complex for Kogi State Vigilante Service at Owowolo, built by Odu Charity Network, said that, giving what belong to the People back to the People will rekindle the hope of the people at the grassroot.
The Chairman thanked the president of Odu Charity Network, Hon Odu Akowe for his community oriented projects, saying that his administration will complement his efforts in establishing life touching projects in rural communities in Ofu Local Government Area.
He maintained that the project was in line with the vision of the state governor, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo, who is very passionate about the welfare of the people of the state and always want the best for them.
Earlier, the president, Odu Charity Network, Hon Odu Akowe, used the occasion to thank the Chairman for his efforts at alleviating the suffering of the people of the Local Government, noting that his network will continue to proffer solutions to the suffering of the people in the Local level.
Appreciating the gesture, a resident of the community expressed his gratitude to President of Odu Charity Network, Hon Odu Akowe, the Chairman of the Council, Hon.Hassan Sani Atawodi and the State governor, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo for the ease brought to them and prayed for the progress of the current administration in the state.
