KOGI INFORMATION COMMISSIONER PAID CONDOLENCE VISIT TO THE FAMILY OF THE LATE CHIEF UMAR ABUBAKAR IN GEGU

The Kogi State Commissioner for Information and Communications, Hon. Kingsley Femi Fanwo, Saturday, paid a condolence visit to the family of late Chief Umar Abubakar, father of the Kogi State Commissioner for Solid Minerals, Hon. Engr Abubakar Bashir Gegu.

In his remarks, Fanwo described the late Chief Umar Abubakar as a bridge builder and a community leader. He said the legacies he left behind will remain the compass for his children and others to emulate.

His words: “I am here to condole with the family of the departed bridge builder. The son who is also the Commissioner for Solid Minerals is my friend , therefore we are all mourning together.

“The children he has left behind are great minds that will carry forward, the lofty legacies of Baba”, he said.

The Commissioner was accompanied on the visit by political associates and supporters.
