The Care taker Chairman, Ofu Local Government Council, Hon.Hassan Sani Atawodi has called on the Management and Staff of the Local Government Council to discharge their duty with commitment.
Hon Hassan who made the call at the Local Government Secretariat, Ugwolawo during the handing over and taking over ceremony between the outgone Treasurer of Ofu Local Government, Mall Abdul Daikwo and the incoming Treasurer, Deacon Monday Adama, said that his administration will reward any staff that is committed to his or her duty.
The Chairman charged the incoming Treasurer, Deacon Monday Adama to be faithful and diligent in discharging his duty, noting that the administration of Governor Usman Ahmed Ododo will not tolerate misconduct in service delivery.
Earlier, the Director, Local Government Administration (DLG), Deaconess Rachael Ukwo John, thanked the outgone Treasurer of the Local Government, Mall Abdul Daikwo for his diligence and commitment to work, saying that God will reward him for his commitment to the service of the Local Government.
In his acceptance speech, the incoming Treasurer, Deacon Monday Adama, thanked the Chairman, Hon.Hassan Sani Atawodi and the DLG, Deaconess Rachael Ukwo John for their efforts in making sure that Ofu Local Government should become a better place for the people and promised to contribute his quota for the development of the Ofu Local Government Area.
