DG Protocol, Suleiman Ibrahim Calls For More Support From His Staff

Director General Protocol Alhaji Suleiman Ibrahim has called for the support of staff of the department in order to succeed.

Alhaji Suleiman made the call in Lokoja while speaking with staff of the Department on assumption of Office.

The meeting is the first official engagement since assumption of office where the new Director General Protocol highlighted the need for collaboration to achieve positive results.

The Director General said Protocol Department is the heartbeat of government house administration which projects the image of government, urging the staff to unite and avoid anything capable of disrupting the activities of the Department.

He advised the staff to be Godly and professional in the discharge of their duties and respect hierarchy and enjoined them to treat guests with decorum.

According to him, the department must work to meet the expectations of guests and do everything possible to make every government activity and event a success.

Alhaji Sulieman noted that having served as Director General of the department for two years; he has no regrets working in the protocol department, noting that he had a very good working relationship with the staff particularly with the immediate past Director General, Protocol who had worked under him.

Also speaking, Director of Protocol, Mr. Emmanuel Dogwo assured the new Director-General of the commitment and support of the staff to succeed in office, saying that they will not only support him but the present administration led by Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo.

He said all issues affecting the department must be settled amicably and in-house, and urged the staff to work accordingly.
