Ugwolawo Community Visits Ofu LG Boss Assures Of Total Support

The Care taker Chairman, Ofu Local Government Council, Hon.Hassan Sani Atawodi is set to bring meaningful development to Ofu Local Government and its communities.

Hon Atawodi who said this in his Office at Ugwolawo while receiving the Executives of Ugwolawo Community Development Association (UCDA), called on the people of the area to drop their differences and join hands with his administration for the purpose of progress and development of the land.

The Chairman said that his coming back as the Chairman of Ofu Local Government this second time is designed by God saying that his coming this time will create meaningful impact in the lives of the people of Ofu Local Government.

He noted that he will not use his power as the Chairman to intimidate anybody assuring that as much as his power can reach, he will make sure he contributes his quota to the development of the area.

Earlier, the president of UCDA, Hon Godwin Etuh expressed his joy over the reappointment of Hon.Hassan Atawodi as the Chairman of Ofu Local Government Area noting that Ugwolawo, the Chairman’s native town and the people are very happy for his coming back as the Chairman of the Local Government.

He promised the Chairman that Ugwolawo people are ready to cooperate with him for the success of his administration.

Hon Etuh used the opportunity to call on Hon Hassan to use his Office to initiate some vital developments in Ugwolawo, that will write his name in gold in the mind of the people.

In a remarks, Hon Siaka Alih (T M), the Senior Special Advisers to the Chairman on Special Duties urged the people to shun gossip and backbiting, saying that the people should come up with vital and relevant ideas that will bring development to Ugwolawo, noting that the Chairman is operating an open door system, saying that he will not pay deaf ears to his People.
