About one hundred and forty Students from Kogi State have graduated from the Center for Innovation in Procurement, Environmental and Social Standards (CIPESS), Federal University of Agriculture, Markudi.
Speaking at the valedictory session, the Director of CIPESS, Professor Lami Nnamonu in a message said, the capacity development project was strategically planned in an aligned and coordinated manner across all tiers of government, including engagement of relevant stakeholders.
Represented by Professor Ebenezer Ekafan of University of Agriculture Makurdi, the Director explained that the project was linked to a real time performance and change management program which will ensure evaluation of capacities in Nigeria with full reliance on technology.
The Assistance Monitoring and Evaluation officer, Mrs. Patricia Kuma said Social Standard was committed to promoting use of best practice in solving problems in chosen fields and mentorship to young professionals amongs others.
On his part, the Director General, Kogi State Bureau of Public Procurement, Barrister Sunday Ehimoni thanked the Centre for adding value to procurement process in the state.
