I Served Mopamuro LGA With Every Sense Of Responsibility-Moses David-Alumo

The Chairman of Mopamuro Local Government Area, Mr. Moses David-Alumo says he has served the people of the Local Government with all sense of responsibility.

Mr. David-Alumo, who stated this in a statement in Lokoja, said he was living office better than he met it, saying he had touched lives positively.

The Chairman said he has ensured the procurement of four tractors, distribution of fertilizer, farm tools and chemicals to peasant farmers which have helped to reduce the issue of food scarcity in Mapamuro.

According to him, cleaning and fumigation of the local Government premises was also giving top priority while in office.

In the health sector, the Chairman said he purchased and distributed drugs to various clinics as well as procurement of medical equipment to various health Centres, while ensuring provision of fifteen free medical services to the good people of Mopamuro.

Mr. David-Alumo said the schools, health centres and public places under his watch also witnessed free fumigation during COVID-19 pandemic.

He maintained that Education sector was given full attention through the purchase and distribution of instructional materials like free books, exercise books to students.

The Chairman said his administration also graded feeder roads in the area while ensuring restoration of power line at Ileteju Mopa and procurement of Security Siena buses to the vigilante group.

Mr. David-Alumo also procured light to all the nooks and Crannies of the secretariat and curbed the excesses of kidnappers and armed robbery in the area.

He said prompt payment of staff Salaries and allowances was not neglected, saying there was also supply of palliatives to the good people of Mopamuro to cushion effects of Fuel Subsidy removal.
