The member representing Dekina/Bassa Federal Constituency, Chief Gowon Paul Haruna popularly known as IJN has fulfilled his promise of donating his salary for the development of his Constituency
The latest donation was handed over to Akuba Two ward in Bassa Local Government of Kogi State.
Speaking on the gesture, a Special Assistant to Governor Yahaya Bello, Mr. Timothy Akubo eulogised the donor describing him as a rare politician.
Mr. Akubo said the stakeholders of the area have distributed the fund to all the polling units to enable them carry out the development projects of their choice.
“The money was shared to all the polling units to enable them carry out the development projects of their choice. In Odenyi polling unit, for instance , we intend to use the money to rehabilitate our broken down borehole” Mr Timothy Akubo said.
While praying to God to bless the donor, the Special Assistant noted that the area has never witnessed this kind gesture from any politician.
