Director-General, Kogi State Broadcasting Corporation, Alhaji Ojo-Oyila Ozovehe, has promised the organization’s collaboration with Rotary Clubs in the state by promoting their activities
The DG gave the assurance in his office recently, when the District Governor, District 9125 of Rotary International, Rotarian Sagba Ahmed, paid him a courtesy visit.
He stated the media organisations is committed to sensitizing the public by informing, educating and entertaining them through news and various programs.
According to him, the programs and activities of Rotary International which has direct bearing on the lives of the people, should be promoted throughout communities in the state and pledged the support of Radio Kogi
“We have been following the trend of Rotary International’s selfless service, commitment and zeal to transform the society. We at Kogi State Broadcasting Corporation also provide and promote integrity by creating lasting change in the communities.”
Earlier in his address, the District Governor, Rotarian Sagba Ahmed, said he was in the state to ensure that the three clubs in Kogi, operate within the dictates of Rotary International.
While commending the Broadcasting house for its support to Rotary, he called on management and staff of the corporation to join Rotary, saying it will boost the organization’s businesses and network.
“As the District Governor, one of my major aim is to grow Rotary, and I am extending hand of invitation to the DG, members of management and staff of the corporation, to look into what Rotary is and join.”
