Youths and students in Kogi State have congratulated the State Security Adviser, Commander Jerry Omodara (retd), on his birthday, describing him as a pillar of the state’s peace and security architecture.
In a statement on Saturday in Lokoja, the Special Adviser to the Governor on Youth and Student Matters, Oladele Nihi, felicitated Omodara on behalf of youths and students in the state.
Nihi said security remains fundamental to youth development, noting that education, entrepreneurship, employment and innovation can only thrive in a peaceful environment.
He said Omodara’s contributions to the state’s security complement the efforts of Governor Ahmed Ododo to create a conducive atmosphere for young people to pursue their aspirations.
“On behalf of the teeming youths and students of Kogi State, I extend our warmest congratulations and sincere best wishes to our security adviser on his birthday.
“We appreciate his commitment to the peace and security of our dear state and his contributions to strengthening the security architecture under the purposeful leadership of His Excellency, Governor Ahmed Ododo,” he said.
Nihi prayed for God’s guidance, wisdom, good health and strength for the security adviser and wished him greater accomplishments in the years ahead.
He assured that youths and students in the state would continue to support policies that promote peace, security, education and sustainable development.
