Forum of Kogi East Stakeholders of NYCN Ends Retreat, Commends Gov. Ododo on Sterling Leadership

The Forum of Kogi East Stakeholders of the National Youth Council of Nigeria, NYCN, has commended the leadership style of the present administration under Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo.

The stakeholders gave the commendation in a communique issued at the end of a two-day youth leadership retreat with the theme: “Examining Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo Strategic leadership Example” at Igala Unity House at Anyigba.

Idris Adams Member, noted that Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo’s leadership by example was outstanding, noting that he is the greatest asset to the state.

It urged leaders from Kogi East to effectively communicate the unbiased workings of the State Governor to the people at the grassroots, urging Politicians from Kogi East to develop real empathy for the people.

According to the NYCN, the real agenda should thrive on social equity, fairness and justice, emphasizing that some appointees and elected leaders from the zone are not adequately doing enough to propagate the Governor’s style of leadership to the people.

It advised that Kogi Easterners should integrate with other zones for the oneness and unity of Kogi State.

The NYCN stakeholders appealed to the Governor to improve on the infrastructural development of Kogi East, especially as it relates to the epileptic power supply of the Zone.

The NYCN also appreciated all those contributed towards making the event a huge success.

The retreat was organized to keep stakeholders and leaders from the zone abreast of the operations of the National Youth Council and also get them acquainted with Governor Ododo’s leadership style.

Present at the retreat include Chief Joseph Erico, Prof Usman Ogbo, Rector Kogi State Polytechnic, Comrade Onuh Edoka, Special Adviser to the Governor on Labour Matters, Engr Usman Nda Mohammed, Dr Victor Alewo Adoji, Chief Wada Drisu Akogu, Comr Benjamin Ojodale, the State Chairman of NYCN and Comrade S.B. Godwin, SSA to the Governor on Youth Mobilization among others.
