The Amezuwa of Ihima Kingdom Mallam Haruna Yusuf has called on the people of Ihima to embrace unity for positive Development of the land.
Mallam Yusuf made the call while speaking with news men at the Sixteenth Anniversary of Ohi of Ihima Alhaji Ahmed Abdulraheem Ogido on the throne at Ihima in Okehi Local Government Area of Kogi State.
Mallam Haruna Yusuf who was given the Title Amezuwa of Ihima Kingdom at the occasion said the event is an opportunity for the people of Ebira to come together to identify areas where they can contribute meaningfully to Ebira Nation noting that Government alone cannot do everything for a community.
He said when people support the activities of government it will hasten the development and achievement of progress of that community.
” For me the title is a call to more service to the community and by the grace of God I will do my best to ensure Ihima Kingdom is counted among highly speedy development community in Kogi, “Mallam Yusuf said.
According to Amezuwa of Ihima Kingdom , the recognition will inspire him to continue striving for excellence and contribute meaningfully to Ihima Kingdom as a reminder that the journey is as important as the destination and that collaboration and resilience are the keys to success.
He expressed his heartfelt appreciation to the royal father HRH Alhaji Ahmed Abdulraheem Ogido for organizing such an important event to strengthen the bond and unity among the people of Ihima and Ebira in general.
He advised other awardees to see the award as an opportunity to give back to the society what the society has given to them
High point of the Event is the Launch of a book titled “Hard drugs Destroy” By the Ohi of Ihima Alhaji Abdulraheem Ogido and presentation .of awards to twelve illustrious sons and daughters of Ebira land who have contributed immensely to the development of Ihima and Ebira in general and
