The Chairman of Ofu Local Government Council, Hon Muhammed Musa Lawal has said his administration will do her best to support the Physically Challenged Persons in the Area.
The Chairman who stated this while presenting tricycles to the Physically Challenged Person in the area, called on the members of his administration to be committed to human development projects.
He saif that the administration of Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo is human development oriented and urged appointees of the area to strive to serve the people dispassionately.
Hon Lawal called on Physically Challenged Persons to be united in their pursuit assuring that the Government will do it best to make life favorable for them.
Earlier, the Chairman of Physically Challenged Persons in the area, Mall Lukeman Siaka thanked the Chairman for his commitment to the Physically Challenged Persons pledging the continued support of the Physically Challenged Persons to his administration.
Mall Lukeman called on the Physically Challenged Persons in the area to be loyal to the present administration in the area saying that the administration of Muhammed Musa Lawal is people friendly.
In a a remark, the DLG/HOS, Ofu Local Government Council, Deaconess Rachel Ukwo John said that the Physically Challenged Persons are not less privileged noting that it is the responsibility of Government to support them.
She said that the Government will look into their request and attend to them in due course.
