The Chairman of Bassa Local Government Area Mr Theophilus Daruwana Adama has Condemned the gruesome murder of five Bassa people in the area.
Mr Theophilus Daruwana Adama stated this while speaking with our Reporter at Oguma the headquarters of the local government Area.
Mr Adama described the act by suspected hoodlums as unnecessary especially when peace is returning to the area.
He appealed to Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo to direct security Agencies to urgently deploy more security personnel to the area to stop further Attack on the Peace loving people of the Area.
The Chairman directed security Agencies in the area to launch into action to discover the hide out of the criminals to avoid further killings of Bassa people.
The council Chairman warned that anyone arrested will face the full wrath of the law.
According to him, his administration will not spare anybody instigating trouble in the land noting that he came to serve and pledge to serve selflessly according to the renewed hope Agenda of Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo and Joel Salifu Administration.
Mr Theophilus Daruwana Adama appealed to the people of the area to remain calm and go about their normal business as investigation to arrest the criminals is on.
