The Chairman of Mopamuro Local Government, Mr Ademola Bello Destiny has promised to key into the transformational agenda of the Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo by providing infrastructural development to the people.
Mr Ademola gave the assurance while inaugurating the Legislative arm of Mopamuro Local Government at Mopa.
The council boss congratulated all the councillors from the ten wards and charged them to justify the confidence reposed on them by the electorate.
Mr Ademola appreciated Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo for conducting a free, fair and credible Local Government election in kogi state.
Member representing Mopamuro in the State House of Assembly charged the councillors to be good ambassadors in their respective wards.
He called for synergy and total cooperation between the
Executive arm and the legislative arm inorder to move Mopamuro LGA to an enviable height.
The councillors subsequently elected their principal officers and Mrs Olupeka Odunayo Mercy emerged as the council leader.
The chief magistrate of Mopa Mr Albert Atta Agada administered the oath of office and allegiance to the Councillors.
