The special Assistant to the governor on Local Government Affairs, Hajiya Kairat Abubakar has called on the people of the state to come out enmasse to vote for candidates of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Saturday’s Local Government Elections.
Hajia Kairat made the call when she visited the newsroom of Kogi State Broadcasting Corporation, Lokoja.
According to her ” a vote for APC candidates in the election is a demonstration of support for the present administration of Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo”
” within a short period the governor has achieved a lot in the area of social economic development of the state” Kairat noted.
She said that the government has a lot in stock for the people in the areas of infrastructure, education, agriculture, road, prompt payment of salary and emphasized the need for total support.
The women leader urged the people to ensure support for all incoming APC chairmen and councilors.
“I call on everyone to forget party affiliations and support the APC for More gains of democracy”
She appealed to all women to encourage One another and drum support for the rulling All Progressives Congress for an overwhelming victory at the end of the polls.
