The Chief Medical Director/CEO of Kogi state Reference Hospital Okene, Prof Solomon Avidime has described the victory of Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo at the Supreme Court as the final confirmation of the will of the people.
In a message of felicitation to the Governor on his resounding victory, Prof Avidime said the verdict by the apex court has shown that the judiciary has played its role of an impartial umpire, thereby affirming the people’s desire.
According to him, the judgement has finally brought to an end the legal battle arising from the November 2023 Governorship election, saying it will afford the Governor the privilege to settle down and concentrate on governance without further distraction.
He called on parties involved in the legal tussle to join the Governor in his quest to execute policies in all sectors of the state economy and to build the Kogi of our dream, noting that the reaffirmation of his mandate by the Supreme Court will further strengthen his administration to do more for the good people of the state
While praying for more wisdom for Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo and his team to carry the state to the next level, the CMD, on behalf of management and staff of the hospital felicitated with the people’s Governor, his Deputy and members of the Executive council on the resounding victory.
