The Ododo/PBAT Polling Unit Canvassers 2027 has appointed Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo as it’s grand patron.
Similarly, the association also appointed the Deputy as patron representing Kogi East, Speaker of the State House Assembly, Aliyu Umar as patron representing Kogi West and the Chief of Staff to the Governor, Ali Bello as Patron representing Kogi Central.
The State Chairman of the Ododo/PBAT Polling Unit Canvassers 2027, Mr Thompson Alfa announced this during a courtesy visit to the Speaker of the State House of Assembly, Alhaji Aliyu Umar.
He said the aim of the organization is to raise not less than thirty Canvassers in each Polling Units in the state for the re-election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo.
Mr Thompson Alfa explained that the move was due to the good good Governance of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo particularly in the area of tackling insecurity.
He noted that the project is to reciprocate the good work of the president and Governor Ododo to ensure their continuity.
Responding the Speaker of the State House of Assembly, Aliyu Umar Commended the organization for the plan to raise 30 canvassers from each polling unit and Promised to support the organization for the victory of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo in 2027.
He described the organization as one of the best for the coming General election.
